Description

Virginia and Georgia are about 5 months old and they are the most laid back goofballs I've ever met. Virginia loves belly rubs and Georgia loves to follow me around in hopes of getting a treat! They do almost everything together. They have been so wonderful to have at our home and have brought so much love and joy into it. These two lovies were rescued by Rio Linda Feral Help back in July. They were abandoned in a field with their siblings and another litter - 13 cats in all! They have been very shy with strangers (I mean, they're cats though, so I don't think that's too unusual) but have opened up to us immensely. They can be handled, enjoy pets, love to play with strings and sparkle balls. They are food motivated so they've been easy to train. I do recommend a childfree home as they are on the shy side. They don't have experiences with dogs. An older, mellower dog would probably be fine. A healthy dose of patience is needed to provide them the space and love they would need to adjust to a new home. We've taken them camping in our van several times and they settle in pretty quick. The boyfriend takes them to work in Grass Valley several times a week as well. They are getting used to his coworkers and ride in the car very well. They usually walk around a bit and then go to sleep in their carrier on their own. They are SO FUN to have with us on our excursions! We've also been harness training them. Georgia is on a mission to cover as much ground as possible, while Virginia would rather chill out and get some pets! They are respectful of our older kitties, leaving them alone for the most part. They do love to run around and play together for several hours in the morning, which is hilarious! They are available to meet in Grass Valley during weekdays by appointment or Citrus Heights after 4pm and weekends. Check out @cormorantseastack on instagram for videos and more pictures! They are spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. $150 adoption fee.
