We got this dog from a lady on Facebook a several days ago. She told us several times that if he didn’t work out, she would take him back. The dog ended up not working well with my 2 year old. He has only been around older children so we knew he could potentially not work out. I texted her explaining everything but she never responded and blocked me on Facebook, so here we are…. This amazing boy is an 8 month old Australian Shepherd. He is house trained, crate trained, up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped. We have renamed him Woody (old name Kai) and he has learned his new name very quickly. He was shy with us when we first met him but by the time we got him home, he already loved us. He was living in a house with 5 other dogs and a cat and was great with them, but he does want to chase one of our cats who has never been around dogs before, so the dog thinks it’s a fun new game. But he has been doing well with having that behavior corrected and the cat is quickly warming up to him. He is quite shy of new people but is not aggressive in the slightest, and as I said, he warms up quickly. He has been an absolute dream dog for us except for not being a perfect match with a small child. He loves to snuggle and will sleep on your lap for hours! He walks great on a leash, and even off of it, he never leaves our side. He sleeps through the night either on the bed or in his crate. He is absolutely amazing and we hate to rehome him but our kids come first. We are expecting another child in a few months and we don’t want him to be even more uncomfortable when there are 2 small children. I am asking $250 for him alone or $400 for him and his brand new crate, food, and toys. Text or email if interested!
