Beginner alternative band

Wanting to create a band an alternative band to be specific. I want to create a 3 piece band. I have some gear drums a few guitars a few amps recordings gear not the best but it all works and we can get better crap as we go. What I have is more than enough to get started. I own my home and land in the country so we can practice as loud as we want. My wife plays off and on the bass but she is on board with what I want to do with this band. Half the living room is like a studio. As musicians go I don't want show offs or top notch players BUT all I ask is that your not tone deaf. I'm looking for guys like me that know a few chords and want to learn as we go. As far as a drummer as long as you can half way keep a beat but can learn to do better with practice that's good enough. I'm an ok rythm player not much of a lead guitarist. I sing some but I don't read music I don't know chords by there letter which is why I play by ear. I have played in bands but it was 20 years ago. I play bass drums also but just half ass not a pro. I'm looking for guys between the age of 30 and 55 who have played a little and know a few chords but want to take that next step. I'm into 90s stuff I graduated high school in the mid 90s Alice in Chains, Mother love bone, Nirvana but also dig Hendrix, Eagles, I like all kinds of crap even the Monkeys and Beatles. Did I mention AIC lol. This is for fun and to give my life some other purpose than rotting away on the couch drinking bear and smoking cigarettes watching F is for Family and Family guy. No hard-core drugs pls. So that's the deal just a band where everyone learns from each other and we create together. I do you work a full-time job so this would be a few evenings a week and atleast one day each weekend. I figured we'd start out learning covers until we learn to play in time fairly well then create our own stuff.
