My name is Kenny Enck and I am the District Manager for District U at LNP Media. I am seeking a few Newspaper Carriers to join the District U team! This position requires you to drive to deliver the Daily LNP and Sunday News. This is a 7 day a week commitment. The newspapers are ready most days around 2:30am for pickup from our Hempstead rd. location (Greenfield Industrial Park) Delivery deadlines are 6am Monday-Saturday and 7am on Sunday. The district's delivery area consists of various routes in the northeast area of Lancaster City and Manheim Township area. This is a great Opportunity for someone looking for flexible part-time work and some extra income. Our couriers are considered independent contractors and most of this district's paper routes will take you around 1 1/2 hours to complete daily and around 2 hours on Sunday. Pay averages $1000-$1200 per month (not including tips) A fuel allowance is being paid to help compensate for the rising fuel costs. ​Responsibilities: Deliver the Daily and Sunday newspapers to customer homes and business locations in a timely manner Load and unload vehicle Arrive before 5am to pick up newspapers Keep notes and delivery lists up to date ​Qualifications: Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields is a plus Valid Drivers License and a dependable registered and insured vehicle Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to handle physical workload Deadline-oriented Job Type: Contract Salary: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per month Schedule: Night shift Self-determined schedule Weekend availability Year round work Supplemental pay types: Supplemental income Tips Ability to commute/relocate: Lancaster, PA 17601: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Shift availability: Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred)
