Description

This course is held evenings 6:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday for two weeks starting October 17, 2022 and ending October 28, 2022. Our Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) training classes offers 40 hour (Phase I) and 30 hour (Phase II) chemical dependency specific education designed to meet State requirements in the following eight (8) content areas: Theories of Addiction (5 hours) Legal and Ethical Issues (6 hours) Counseling Procedures & Strategies I (5 hours) Counseling Procedures & Strategies II (4 hours) Assessment & Diagnosis (3 hours) Treatment Planning (3 hours) Treatment Planning II (4 hours) Counseling Procedures & Strategies III (5 hours) Group Process & Techniques (5 hours) Serene Counseling & Wellness, LLC is an approved provider offering many course packages which cover all areas of the CDCA education requirements.
