We're Tasting Collective (tastingcollective.com), the nation's leading private supper club community on a mission to transform the traditional restaurant experience into one that is all about human connection. We turn restaurants into stages for a night (metaphorically speaking) upon which restaurant chefs get to "put on a show." We currently operate our private dining club in 13 cities, having just recently expanded to New Orleans as city #13. Thus far, the response we've received from NOLA restaurants and food-lovers has been nothing short of incredible! We're looking for a rockstar Event Lead to help host our chef-led dining events at New Orleans' very best independent restaurants. As Event Lead, you will be the face of the Tasting Collective brand at our events. You will interface with acclaimed chefs, restaurant staff, and our customers to make sure our events run seamlessly and are successful. Your responsibilities will include setting up our event equipment at restaurants (PA/Speaker System, menus, etc.), configuring seating charts, welcoming attendees, emceeing during our events, and breaking down equipment post-event. The ideal candidate will be SUPER dependable, hyper-organized, detail-oriented, outgoing, personable, self-confident, and comfortable delegating tasks/managing people. The ability to work independently, in a high-energy/fast-paced environment (restaurants!) is essential. Past work experience in event coordination, theater/performance production, and/or TV/Film production is a plus, but not essential. Oh, and ideally you're passionate about food/restaurants!
