Key Note Speakers Lloyd Ward founded WHI to build bridges among entrepreneurs worldwide, providing access to capital and fueling great business ideas. Lloyd brings 40 years of experience in capital markets, M&A, and JV formation, especially in China. He served as Chairman and CEO of Maytag Corp.; President of Frito Lay and CEO of the 2002 United States Olympic Committee. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for General Motors Corp., JP Morgan Chase Co. He holds an engineering degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from Xavier University. Martin Johnson is a seasoned financial executive and entrepreneur. He has held several positions in banking including senior vice president of Capital One Bank and City President – Regions Bank. As an entrepreneur, he has CFO experience in start-ups, early-stage and growth companies. Martin serves on numerous civic and faith-based boards and foundations. He is a member of the Central Louisiana Business Incubator Hall of Fame. He holds a degree in accounting from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Godfrey Simbeye is the immediate former CEO of the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) where he led the organization for 10 years.  TPSF is the umbrella body for the private sector in Tanzania, where he was the voice of the private sector.  As CEO, he participated in meetings organized by Regional private sector bodies such as East African Business Council (EABC), was a founding member of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Business Council and presided over the establishment of bilateral, regional and international relationships.  Godfrey has served as Director on the Equity Bank Tanzania Limited, a subsidiary of Equity Bank of Kenya.  He is a qualified accountant (ACCA) and has a Master of Science degree in Information Management & Technology from University of Strathclyde in the UK.  Charles Winburn is a visionary. He is the founder of The Encampment Church located in College Hill. The four-million-dollar facility includes a Child Care Learning Academy for 125 children and a new 15,000 square foot building that is used for workshops, worship services, musical services and community meetings. The campus was dedicated in July and serves as a bastion of comfort for College Hill residents. Charlie is also responsible for collaborating with the Church in College Hill and the Tuwshiyah Community Development Corporation, a faith-based organization, to construct approximately 30 new single-family homes proposed for College Hill in 2006.Charles Winburn has led a progressive career in public service, policy-making and administration. He served seven years as an elected City Council member and 15 years in various administrative/management positions in public and non-profit organizations working aggressively for the betterment of the City of Cincinnati. Dr. Dameon Alexander has a diversity of experiences ranging from television broadcasting for major networks such as NBC and ABC News, film production for Procter & Gamble, senior management in universities, and lead roles in venture capital and philanthropy. In business, his passion for social impact started with his Doctoral work at the University of Cambridge where his research involved a multi-disciplinary experiment bridging education, economics, and corporate social responsibility. He led partnership building and venture philanthropy for Stand Together, a Koch Industries network of approximately 700+ business leaders inclusive of 200 family offices and 180+ nonprofit organizations. His work involved donor advising, grant making, portfolio management, measurement, leadership coaching, and building high profile collaborations across entertainment, professional sports, and business.
