D&G's Petite Pups located in Paterson, NJ is a family-owned and operated Premium Pet and Pet Supply company specializing in small- and medium-breed puppies and puppy supplies. We are proud to match happy and healthy pups to lovable pet parents. Sales Associated leads the operation of the store and must be passionate about creating a professional, customer-focused setting. About You: We are looking for sales experience-bilingual is a plus As a Customer Service Representative/Sales, you'll oversee all aspects of our retail store, including leading a small team of associates! Responsibilities include: Leading and training retail sales staff Producing weekly/monthly shift schedules Effectively merchandise and keep the store fresh, engaging, and relevant for customers by updating signage, displays, and promotions Track sales and product inventory Manage business email, social media, and phones Manage grooming salon schedule Show puppies to interested customers, make breed recommendations, review sales paperwork Keep showroom, including dogs and dog cages, clean Assist in back of store, as needed. Skills you should have: Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques Experience managing a retail store Ability to multitask, take initiative, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible Experience working with social media platforms/tools to engage customers Puppy lover!
