From the City of New Orleans: January 5, 2021 Property tax bills have been delayed as the City awaits final approval of the tax rolls from the State of Louisiana, as presented to the State by the Orleans Parish Tax Assessor's Office. Once the State approves the proposed tax rolls, the City will post the property taxes accordingly. The City will adjust the payment timeline and due dates to accommodate for this delay. In the interim, the City of New Orleans stands prepared to help process 2021 property tax information for residents. Residents may visit City Hall to make a payment, using the lobby dropbox, or can mail payments directly to the Bureau of Treasury, 1300 Perdido St., Suite 1W40, New Orleans, LA 70112. Please note that residents are encouraged to mail in due to COVID-19 protocols and social distancing. This press release was produced by the City of New Orleans.
