Description
I have a very large (around 22 pounds and not overweight) 2 year old male maine coon that I am considering rehoming. He’s the largest cat I’ve ever seen honestly. He is a good and very loving cat that is a little more than I can handle right now. Money is extremely tight and he needs someone willing and able to figure out why he has such a sensitive stomach. He intermittently gets loose stools. Also, the hair on his back is currently growing back due to me shaving him to get rid of mats. One of the foods I tried him on gave him diarrhea several months back and I didn’t want to further torture him by brushing the small mats out, so they got much bigger and needed to be shaved out rather than taking him to an expensive groomer. I found a food that he did great on (natural balance limited ingredient venison), but it became hard to find and the price jumped from $35 to around $85 on Amazon. So he doesn’t have any issues that I’m aware of other than the sensitive stomach. Just needs a good, loving home with lots of attention and possibly another cat for company. His is a purebred maine coon that originally cost $1300 as a kitten and I’d appreciate a rehoming fee (nothing close to what he cost) and would like to verify he is going to a good home if you can give a few references. If I decide to let him go, he will come with a huge litter box, nice cat tree, food, brushes, dematting tool, large food and water dish, and a cat harness and leash that fits him well. Haven’t gotten around to leash training, but he’s certainly interested in going outside. He is a part of our family and this would be a tough decision so please only contact me if you will make him part of your family and take good care of him.
