In this intimate culinary demonstration with Chef Iran, you will learn how simple ingredients combined with mastery kitchen techniques can create an authentic Italian cuisine from the comfort of your home.
With your ticket, guests will enjoy:
Salad
Spring mix, cherry tomato, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomato, olive oil, balsamic vinegar dressing
Bruschetta
Primavera purée, grilled eggplants, sundries tomatoes, caramelized onions, parmesan cheese
Pasta
Penne pasta, roasted red pepper purée with shrimp
Chef Iran is the former Executive Chef at Kansas City’s favorite Brookside Italian restaurant, Bella Napoli. For over 20 years, Chef Iran has delighted Kansas City residents and visitors with uniquely crafted authentic cuisines ranging from southern Italy, to central Mexican to French specialties. It’s in the diversity of our culinary treasures that Chef Iran believes in the power food has to bring communities together.
The Museum is proud to offer culinary programs in Café at 3218. Café at 3218 brings people together to enjoy a seasonal menu (coming later in 2022) and participate in culinary programs including cooking demonstrations and classes. Café at 3218 encourages everyone to have a seat at the table, celebrating community and sharing the recipes, stories, and histories that nourish us.
