Circling the Lake - Sketchwalk along Eola Park

We are excited to return to Lake Eola Park with a sketchbook in hand, colors & pens, to meet and mingle and draw visual stories of the urban vibes and nature's tranquility surrounding the lake during evening hours. We will meet on the SW side of Eola park near the "Muse of Discovery" sculpture, a short walk North from Lake Eola Amphitheater. Our sketchwalk will begin by drawing there and will continue along the shore towards South-east. We’re hoping to capture a ray of stories in our sketchbooks; the Urbanic architecture vibes surrounding the park, Nature, birds, landscape, and People. There are new sculptures installed around the lake, and we'll try to capture some into visual storytelling drawings. To best timing our sketchwalk duration we will only circle half of the lake this time. Our Sketchwalk will end at a nearby cafe'-restaurant on the SE or NE side of the park, with a view of the lake, indoors or outdoors, as space permitted. We'll wrap up our evening in a Drink&Draw gathering around tables. Don't miss this opportunity to meet old and new friends, local artists of all skill levels who share same passion for Urban Sketching art, and the social comradery USk is famous for! To top it all, we are delighted to host a friend during this Sketchwalk, Urban Sketcher Ronaldo Kurita, who is visiting us from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Ronaldo is excited to meet us, the USk Orlando Sketchers, while he's on a short trip visiting Ctr. FL, and we couldn't think of a better on-location drawing spot to present him with our "City Beautiful Orlando" and to Sketch-Together! Ronaldo is the USK Sao Paulo Admin and a top organizer for multiple USk Chapters around Brazil. He also volunteers with the USk International organization on the Membership team and the USk Social Media team. JOIN US to meet & draw with Ronaldo!
