POINT PLEASANT – Bridge Avenue was reopened after an accident on Tuesday night. The accident shut down one of Point Pleasant Boro's main roads on Tuesday night. Bridge Avenue northbound was closed around 7:30 p.m. because of the accident, police said. It was reopened about an hour later. The road was closed at Route 88, police said. There was no initial word on possible injuries. This is a developing story. Patch will have more information as it comes in.
