I have a Yellow Crown Amazon that I need to rehome due to my current change in events of life. Her age is unknown but she is at least 10 years old. She came to me on a diet of pizza crust and I successfully switched her to pellets. Ive had her for about three years. Two years ago she got really ill. I took her to the vet and had to give her injections twice daily for 10 days. She obviously got over the illness but has never gained her weight back. She refuses to eat anything but pellets now, including seed. She is not DNA sexed. I say "she" without knowing. Anyway, she cannot be bred due to the fact that she is underweight. She is not sick any longer but will not gain weight. She needs a new cage so the new owner must provide one. Hers is getting old and dilapidated. I have a cage that I can sell with her that is almost like new. There is a specie appropriate rehoming fee. Please do your research on this baby before contacting me. If you need to get permission from your significant other, please do so before contacting me. If the first thing you ask is "Does she talk?", please do not contact me. She speaks fluent parrot but is not a noisy screamer. If you meet the criteria and are considering adding this sweet baby to your home, please CALL me. If I do not answer please leave a voicemail and I will call you back ASAP. I will not respond to emails, text messages or codes. She is tame however she is hesitant to come out of her cage. She doesnt really trust hands and uses a step up stick to come out of her cage. She then steps onto your arm and climbs onto your shoulder where she will happily let you love on her.
