Hi, I'm a 20-something y/o college student on a gap year looking to work/intern/apprentice at a recording studio, live venue, or any music-related place. I use Ableton (~8 yrs. experience) and am interested in learning ProTools. I understand the basics of DAWs and can probably figure out any one. I'm interested in learning/helping with: - setting up recording sessions, learning mic placement techniques - mixing/mastering sessions - learning ProTools/other industry standards I don't need payment, all I ask is that you help me learn things and gain experience. If possible, I'd also really appreciate the opportunity to work on my own projects. I live in Washington Heights and am willing to commute up to 1 hour by public transit or bike. I'm available to start immediately. I would like this to last through next summer, although I might want to travel during the winter. Please email if interested, and we can discuss further. Thanks.
