Hello friends of art and creative synergy! I’m Dorian! I’m happy to be living in Phoenix again having returned from living in northern California for past couple years. I’m A very creative and hard grooving drummer. I’ve been playing in bands since i was 13 (I’m 38 now. That’s 25 years behind the kit!). My buddy James who plays a very funky bass guitar (like an analog synthesizer!) and our piano player are looking for a singer! We would prefer a female singer but are open to auditioning either gender, looking for someone with that really cool raspy jazzy vocal style that will complete our lineup. We are looking to make some Nu Soul, acid jazz or fusion style music that sounds like jazz from the future. I love musical artist such as Red Snapper, Hiatus Kaiyote, Flying Lotus, Dust Brothers, DJ Shadow, Square Pusher, Zero Seven, Kneebody, Mars Volta, Christian Scott, Mac Ayers and so on… My previous bands include Telepathic Birds, Madera Strand and more… I have a rehearsal space at home near greenway and the sr51. I enjoy hosting and entertaining parties and I’m Looking forward to meeting you and getting our act ready to play!
