Do you love sprucing things up? Are you meticulous and detail-oriented? Good at fixing things? Seeking someone looking for flexible, part-time work to help maintain, repair and improve my small Silverlake home and yard. You MUST: - have previous work experience - be self-starting, thorough and 100% dependable - have a green thumb - be able to come up with inventive and economical solutions for storage, organization, efficiency, etc. - have reliable transportation and be in close proximity to Silverlake Duties include, but are not limited to: - organizing home and yard - nurturing indoor & outdoor plants - repairing/mending a variety of objects & clothing - light housekeeping (dishes, laundry, etc.) - minor interior/exterior painting and repairs - periodic cleaning/re-organization of garage and cellar $20 hr. to start. Negotiable depending on skills/experience. (+ reimbursement for all approved out-of-pocket expenses). Hours will vary week-to-week, with an average of 6-10 hours/week in-house. Because my schedule varies daily, you must be able & willing to check-in each morning. Because your time on the property will rarely exceed 2-3 hours/day (most often between 12 – 6 pm), commuting more than a few miles will not be cost-efficient. The ideal candidate will be able to create additional, remote work for him/herself based on skill-set and the ability to conceive and execute any number of projects (eg. selling items on eBay & other online platforms,, digitizing CDs, handling social media, etc. These are just a few examples – open to others, as well.) You MUST include a resume or LIST OF SKILLS plus 2 recent employer WORK REFERENCES to be considered.
