Lost Elderly Orange Tabby Cat - $1000 reward

On Thursday, 9/8, my elderly 18 year old cat went missing during the heatwave. On the day I was returning from a trip to visit my Mom out of state, my friend who had been watching him, left him outside (when it was over 100 degrees outside) and shut the door : (. I believe he may have wandered to a neighbor's house. I have searched all over, checked shelters, vets offices, posted on next-door, facebook, pawboost, you name it, he is nowhere to be found. I am thinking he may have been picked up by someone who felt sorry for him while he was wandering around in the extreme heat. If you have seen this kitty, and are caring for him, please let me know. I will gladly pay a reward for his safe return. I will even pay a reward for information to help me get some closure, as I believe he may have passed away in someone else's care (he had kidney issues and needed daily care to survive). I would understand and appreciate if someone did pick him up because they were simply trying to help him. Thank you.
