Holding parts together until solder has set. • Other responsibilities. Solders also use a heat gun to shrink an insulation tub over the wire. • Working life. In a typical work week as a Solders you can expect to work up to 40 hour work week at a soldering work station. If full time you will have a one hour lunch break.
