As the 10-year anniversary of the tragic murder of Mary Escue approaches- let’s get together and walk a 5k to honor her memory and raise money for a wonderful cause! Mary was incredibly passionate about helping others and Mental Health Association Oklahoma shares that similar vision and mindset. MHAOK is a vital organization serving over 30,000 vulnerable Oklahomans each year. A support group offered by MHAOK was an invaluable resource for the family at the time of Mary’s death and has continued to make a positive impact for others who have suffered similar losses. A 5k walk in tribute to Mary will take place at LaFortune Park at 9am on December 17, 2022. Registration for the walk will be free and any donations can be made directly to MHAOK in Mary’s honor. Mary loved the holidays so wear your most festive holiday attire/ugliest Christmas sweater to help celebrate her life and legacy!
