This event will be held in person at YANA North, located at 240b South Tuttle Ave. Presented by LT. Charles Kenniff (Ret.) Charles Kenniff’s law enforcement career spans the last 37 years.At the sheriff’s office, Lt. Kenniff was the commander of the agency’s training section, overseeing all aspects of both law enforcement and corrections training, including its field and in- service training programs. Charlie has been involved with Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, specifically the “Memphis Model” since 2003, and is a Master CIT instructor, as designated by the University of South Florida and the Florida CIT Coalition. Charlie retired in March 2021 and is now running his training and consulting company providing de-escalation strategies to law enforcement and other first-responder agencies, and corporations nationwide.
