Join NAMI Wood County for its annual AfterBurn event! This fun-filled event will take place on October 7th, 2022 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the Wood County Fairgrounds. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy vendors, trunk or treat, kids activities, a chili cook-off and a relay. Afterwards, the night will conclude with a special recovery celebration. The full schedule is as follows: 5:00PM-Registration 5-7:30PM- Vendors, Trunk or Treat, and Kids Activities 5:30-7:00PM-Chili Cookoff and Relay 6:00-7:00PM- Kids Power Hour 7:30-8:00PM- Recovery Celebration As always, we appreciate all the support we receive from our Wood County community, and our hope that by hosting this event, we can continue to spread mental health awareness. The proceeds from this event will help support NAMI Wood County in its mission to provide support, education, and advocacy to individuals living with mental illness and their loved ones. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from the Chili Cook-off will go to the Wood County First Peer Support Team. Please note that sales are final. Refunds will be issued at the discrepancy of staff. If refund is requested after September 26th, a 15% cancellation fee will be charged to your card. Refunds can take up to 30 days to be processed.
