ONE HOPE Workshops are events designed for ministry leaders, pastors, church planters, and church members, and partners. They focus on practical ministry pracitces and training. This workshop is geared to the pulpit and the pew. Meaning, it's for everyone. How to create a culture of leadership development. Too often, we struggle to find leaders in our churches. We need them, but hardly have the time to raise them up and can't seem to do so quickly enough to meet the rising demands of ministry. Join us as author, Phil Newton, believes churches ought to develop a culture of mentoring. He even wrote a book about it called The Mentoring Church. He will be with us presenting his ideas. Additionally, Mike Crawford will join us. Mike has years of experience in leadership roles and a long track record of developing leaders. ONE HOPE's Joel Kurz and Stephanie Greer will lead the way as guide and host, telling stories, leading conversations and Q&A's, and sharing as peers. Based out of The Garden Church in Baltimore, MD, ONE HOPE currently supports ministry through the local church in the inner city. ONE HOPE seeks to help plant churches among the poor through resourcing and training future church planters and teams, equipping them for ministry. ONE HOPE networks with suburban churches and churches in upwardly mobile communities to support work in poor communities.
