Description

We are excited to be back in person and to host you at our Fall Educator Training! At the Educator Training, we invite new and veteran schools to: Learn how to implement environmental action projects on campus with your studentsAccess resources and collaborative opportunities with local partnersHear success stories from other teachers and get your questions answeredExplore how you can get your school recognized through EarthGen certificationHosted by EarthGen and Clark County Green Schools I have a question about the training. Who should I contact? Email [email protected] - we'll get back to you within 48 hours! Will I receive clock hours? Yes. You'll receive 2 STEM clock hours when you attend the training. Then you will receive 3 STEM clock hours for completing the certification process. A possible 5 STEM clock hours. Will I receive substitute reimbursement? Yes! Our partners at Clark County Green Schools are generously covering sub-costs. Please email Samantha Springs ([email protected]) to learn more. I've already certified my school with EarthGen - should I come? We highly recommend it! In addition to sharing program updates and new resources, we'll also be connecting teachers with community partners and other Green Team leaders.  I've never been certified with EarthGen. Is this the event for me? Definitely. We'll start from scratch so you'll leave knowing what our program can offer you, how to start an environmental action project on campus, and how to get recognized for your work. Should I bring anything?  Please bring a laptop or tablet, if you have one. We will provide coffee and refreshments!
