The event will be a meet and great with James followed by a conversation between him and Society Executive Director Justin Reash. Drinks and heavy hors d'eourves will be provided. Bring along your favorite book of James' for him to sign. James Holland is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning historian, writer, and broadcaster. The author of a number of best-selling histories including Fortress Malta: An Island Under Siege, Battle of Britain, Dam Busters, and most recently, The War in the West. He has presented – and written – a large number of television programmes and series, including the BBC’s The Battle for Malta. He is the co-host of the popular podcast We Have Ways of Making You Talk. He is the Chair of the Chalke Valley History Festival, a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a Research Fellow at Swansea University.
