Vocal music refers to the form of music sung with the human voice. Vocal music is mainly based on the human vocal cords, and cooperates with the mouth, tongue, and nasal cavity to act on the breath, and produces a pleasant, continuous and rhythmic sound.
According to the difference in range and timbre, it can be divided into soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto and tenor, baritone and bass. The range of each vocal is about two octaves.
Vocal music includes: bel canto, ethnic singing and popular singing. In 2006, the original ecological singing method appeared in China. Usually vocal refers to bel canto.
