I am a guitarist and vocalist looking to form a band for jamming and playing local shows. Duo/Trio or full band. Electric or amped acoustics. I’m open to pretty much any genre as long as the players vibe. Anyone interested in this endeavor will come in as equals in search of building from where we intersect. I have been here in Carmel 2 years and have played a few solo gigs (a wedding and 3 Carmel City events). I want to continue that trend. I have time weeknights some weekdays and weekends. I work from home. I have a basement studio in Carmel and I have a Sunday only loud-as-we-want practice space in Castleton. I’ve previously been in an Americana Trio (Bass, Uke/Vocals and Guitar(me)) and a 60-70s Classic Rock cover band (rhythm). I’ve played free form Jazz in a duo with keys and as accompanying guitar to a female singer on standards. I currently have sets spanning 60s to 90s Rock, Country and Americana. I play anything I love to sing: Allison Kraus, RHCP, Tom Petty, Bob Marley, CCR, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Cat Yusuf Stevens, Steve Miller, Joni Mitchell, Allman Bros, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, Vampire Weekend, The Police, Beatles, Zeppelin, Incubus, James Taylor, and more. I can get far out with these freak pedals…. or I can keep it to I IV V with a touch of reverb; depends what we want. Open to joint adventures!
