How it works: Bring your favorite bottle of wine for admission into this event and share with a group up to 10 people (10 bottles=10 tastings. Tastings will depend on the number of people attending).Each tasting will consist of a 2 oz pour or more (doesn't seem like a lot but it adds up).Let's talk wine (i.e etiquette, regions, flavors/aromas, body, acidity, tannin, finish).Pick your favorite wine of all the ones tasted.The winner of the highest scoring wine gets a prize at the end of the tastings.Supplies will be provided including water. Just bring your wine bottle.If bringing a white wine, please have it chilled if possible as time will be limited.If you are new to wine, an enthusiast, a wine professional, or taking classes for WSET or Somm and need a group to practice tasting this event is for you. We can all learn from each other while enjoying the good stuff. Wine is a universal beverage that brings people together in various ways. Wine education is the primary focus; however, please have an open mind and let wine 'do what it do.' This will be an informal, laid-back event where adult conversations may ensue in a non-judgmental environment. As future events continue, Wine With Tavia plans on presenting more specific wines based on regions and varietals in order to further explore the different tastes in wine and enhance one's overall knowledge. This event is free and will book fast. Secure your slot soon. Although this is a free event, if you obtained a ticket I ask that you attend in order to not prohibit another person from participating.
