This year, the Employment Training Panel (ETP) will provide nearly $93M funding to employers that can offset the costs of workforce training for California workers. These funds help companies address impacts of the post-COVID return to work by funding training that helps them compete, innovate, hire and retain workers.
This year, ETP will expand its support for job creation with additional investments from the State's General Fund particularly for vocational and technical literacy skills, healthcare and small business. At the same time ETP is expanding its support for employers and workers in the Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction and Goods Movement industries. The session will provide a brief update on ETP program changes, funding and new partnership opportunities.
