Welcome back to China Institute to learn and enjoy Educators Open House in person! Join us to explore China Institute Gallery’s “Mountains and Painting: An Educational Journey Through Landscape Art” and experience its innovative art education program, Discover China Through Art (DCTA) including a docent-led tour and hands-on activities designed to be customized for your student’s fieldtrip. Educators will also learn about China Institute’s programs for K-12 educators, including professional development series “Art, Ritual and Religion: Bronze Vessels to Buddha Images” and We All Live in the Forbidden City workshops designed for students in your classroom! Doors open at 5 PM. Program starts at 5: 30 PM. Refreshments will be served. 2 hours of CTLE credits are offered for New York State teachers attending this program.
