Highly skilled female musicians band together to channel the spirit of Freddie Mercury and re-create the magic of Queen in concert. There are no recorded tracks - every note, every beat, every harmony is produced onstage. The sound is authentic. The tribute is genuine. The charm is real. Come and sing along - you're gonna have a real good time. The band originally formed to play at Chic-a-Go-Go's Covers for Cover show at Schubas, but have since played at various shows and events, including Midsommarfest, Metro Chicago (opening for Chevy Metal), Backlot Bash at Chicago Pride, and more. Members (Christine Chung, Emi Fukuda, Carolyn Engelmann, Amy Schmitz, Ann Marie Meiers, Liz Ele, and John San Juan) have played in various original and tribute outfits over the past decade, including Hushdrops, Chamber Strings, Skirt Steak, Little Red and the Hoods, Lindee Cavalier, The Gingers, Sons of the Silent Age, Material Issue, The Sentinels, Foo La La, and more.
