Join the Bronzeville Trail Task Force, Inc. (BTTF) in celebrating its second year of existence at the Inaugural Community Luncheon. BTTF has one singular objective, to persuade the City of Chicago and Cook County to develop the Kenwood ‘L’ Embankment into an almost two mile, handicap accessible, walking, running, and biking trail. Our luncheon theme is “Women Leaders for the Bronzeville Trail.” All are invited to join women leaders from across the State of Illinois for a luncheon in the Bronzeville community. Together, we can gather support for what will prove to be the most catalytic redevelopment project in the history of Bronzeville, a linear park that will connect communities and benefit both Bronzeville and the City of Chicago for generations to come! This event will introduce the Inaugural Major Taylor Trail Blazer Award honoring a woman who has made an extraordinary and historic accomplishment in advancing the cause of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
