Busy Yacht Dealership is seeking a self-starter maintenance person who is detail-oriented, knows what a quality job looks like and has basic skills in repairs and servicing simple systems or mechanical aptitude and willing to be trained. The job is keeping our charter and club boats in premium cosmetic condition and in working order. Work includes washing, buffing, polishing and waxing fiberglass, prepping boats and checking them back in for club members and charter guests. You are able and willing to use checklists and follow protocols for services and understand their importance. It also includes working with our service techs in reporting and working on repairs. In addition, the job includes keeping supplies on hand, placing timely orders for them and stocking the charter boats with supplies. Your work should reflect our commitment to high-quality customer experience and thoughtfulness. This position is for someone who takes great pride in their work and does not cut corners. We have two office locations, Jack London Square and Pt Richmond and work will mainly be out of the Oakland office but includes both offices at times. Interested applicants should have some experience in cleaning or detailing work in any of the following: Automotive, Marine, RV detailing experience, (training will be given on the job). You should have ability to use apps for time tracking, reporting and basic computer skills. If you have boating experience that is a plus. If you want to learn to boat, classes and training are available. Long-term - this job includes some weekend work for charter boat cleaning between charters. You must be able to work some weekend hours for charter boat cleaning after and/or before boats go out on charter. 40 hours per week.
