Please come and raise your voice and bring your message on a sign in support of the SAVE AMERICAS FORGOTTEN EQUINES ACT (S.A.F.E. ACT) that is now going through Congress to stop the shipment of American horses for slaughter in other countries. We will also be rallying to stop the unnecessary and cruel roundups of Americas wild horses and burros from our public lands. The overgrazing on our public lands is from privately owned cattle and sheep that are allowed to graze our lands for next to nothing (Less than $6.00/month for a cow/calf pair or 5 sheep). This is an antiquated and unfair practice supported by an almost one hundred year old law: The Taylor Grazing Act. The time has come to leave our wild lands wild and make the ranchers purchase their grazing lands just like in the midwest and east. Please join us and bring YOUR message on a sign!
