Acoustic Sound Medicine is a collective effort between Be You Disco and Spirit Walk Playful Journey centered in improvisational sound and movement. We use tuning instruments, voice, and the natural elements to create a harmony of energies promoting wellness for the mind, body and spirit. Join us as we venture through space and the elements combining unique sounds to the incredible visuals that you will see above you at the Planetarium. This will be unlike any sound healing you have experienced. We will take audiences on a celestial adventure through the universe using sound as our navigator and inner tour guide. Carolina will introduce audiences to a unique meditative vocal state accompanied by Blanche’s word activations and flute playing in the key of “free to be.” Kev serves as our conductor of space within sound. This sound journey combined with visuals of earth and its elements will leave you feeling more connected to this beautiful planet and more connected to your body. Featuring a unique community of sound healers improvising and expanding the diversity of our frequencies; from sound bowls and gongs to chimes, tuning forks and didgeridoos. For those that are new to sound healing: Sound healing is a therapeutic modality that uses sound frequency combined with intention to shift your state into one of relaxation, inner-harmony, and presence. ​​The meditative experience invites you into a state of “rest and digest” and feeling nourished by the vibrations all around you. Instruments Included: -native flute -sound bowls -vocal sound healing and improvisational music -shakers -chimes Your Facilitators: Kev Ohm - a local Brazilian artist that specializes in acoustic pop with a bossanova vibe. Another genre that Kev explores is what he called sound medicine. This is improvisational vocalizations that can be used in a sound healing setting. Blanche with Spirit Walk Playful Journey - provides a visually stimulating experience using sacred geometry, imagery and flute sound medicine to tap into your imagination and intuitive wisdom. Spirit Walk is a playful journey where all your choices are right and everybody wins. Transmitting vibrations from the Multiverse and beyond through divine love. Luis Angel utilizes a beautiful collection of intentionally crafted instruments ranging from quartz singing bowls, chimes, indigenous rattles and more.
