Have you ever experienced kayaking along Miami’s skyline at Sunset? And enjoyed a bonfire under the stars? Sunset Kayak/SUP Tours are available Friday and Saturday evenings at Morningside Watersports. We meet 1 hour before Sunset (Meeting: 6:30 pm) and Depart at 6:45 pm. Your Guide will provide bright, colorful lights on the front and back of your Kayak or SUP to help illuminate the peaceful paddling adventure. We paddle for 40 min before taking a break at one of the many Islands on Biscayne Bay. We’ll watch the sunset over Downtown Miami while immersed in nature, paddling in the flat quiet bay overlooking the city. To complete this memorable adventure, we head back to our concession where we will gather around the bonfire ring at our lighted outdoor lounge, enjoying chill music in the Miami sky. We offer a different approach to the ocean ecosystem and we promise you an amazing experience with nature. Our goal is to encourage guests to be more conscious of our environment while they share quality time with family and friends. This tour will include: - Expert Tour Guides - Motorized safety boat - Kayaks & Paddleboards with lights & back seats - Life vest equipped with whistle & Light - 1.5 hour Tour - Access to Private Islands - Access to the Bonfire After-party What will you need: - water friendly clothing - water/Gatorade for hydration - water shoes - water bags for electronics - If bringing your own kayak/sup bring a light attachment Once you arrive, we will begin with a brief orientation on paddling and kayaking for the group. Then we will make our way to some of the uninhabited islands where we will dock our SUPs and kayaks and watch the last sunset light on the Westside! Once back at the park we will have the bonfire going for a chill vibe for the rest of the evening. COVID-19 Note: We sanitize all our Equipment including life vests, after each rental - Hand sanitizer will be available on-site - Bench seats will be placed 6 feet apart at 3 separate locations to maintain social distancing requirements and keep small groups of participants Our outdoor lounge with a bonfire ring is quite friendly. We also have a small grill available, so feel free to bring any food or snacks. BYOD to enjoy as well (please drink responsibly and keep your glass private!).
