1 year-old female border collie, not yet spayed. Brookie is up to date on all puppy vaccinations and is very energetic, but loves to snuggle at night. She has excellent recall and is very eager to learn. She would do best in a home without small children and preferably be the only other dog. She is currently being fostered in the North Lansing area in a home with another dog, and it did take a few days with training and correction for her to warm up to the other. Her foster parents are currently working on finishing her crate training (pees in cage when excited), and also on eliminating the mild resource guarding and defensiveness. Brookie is being rehomed due to the aforementioned behaviors but her foster parents are working through those issues, and she has made great progress. She would do well with a family that is very active or can be committed to working Brookie, as she is a natural working breed. A small rehoming fee will apply.
