Bird & Animal Consignment Auction at West Ottertail County Fairgrounds, 1812 Pebble Beach Lk Rd, Fergus Falls, MN on September 24, 2022. Auction starts at 9:30 AM on Saturday. Check-in for sellers: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday and starting at 7:00 AM on Saturday. Order of Sale: Birds followed by Hoof Stock and miscellaneous at the end of the day Snacks and drinks can be bought at sale. Due to limited seating there will be a $6 admission charge (No charge for children under 12). Tickets can be bought at the sale. Please call ahead. Health Regulations: Birds: We accept birds for sale but we ask all poultry sellers to please call ahead due to the current bird flu epidemic (Phone: ). All upland game birds, poultry and waterfowl (all types of ducks, geese and swans) should be tested currently or within the last 30 days for Pullorum Typhoid. YOU MUST HAVE TEST PAPERS WITH YOU AND FILLED OUT COMPLETELY! Note: Minnesota Sellers - turkeys must be tested no later than 2 weeks prior to sale for S. Typhimurium and Mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma Gallisepticum and Mycoplasma Synoviae). YOU MUST HAVE TEST PAPERS WITH YOU AND FILLED OUT COMPLETELY! Certified bird tester will be provided on-site at cost of seller! Please have cages latched and easy to open. Ratites: No test requirement at present time. Equine: Negative Coggins test required on all horses, mules and donkeys. Goats: No test needed. Exception: Goats going out of state need TB test. Sheep & Goat Producers: All animals are required to have an official USDA-ID tag before shipment. Onsite Vet Charges: Poultry: $.50 per box Hoof Stock: $1.00 per head Out of state sellers please call for additional health regulations.
