Shape Up Your Pup is a Manhattan based dog hiking and training company, offering full day country escapes for NYC dogs seeking adventure, fitness, and fun. Our hikes take place in beautiful trails located within an hour of NYC. Seeking immediate, part time and full time hires. Hours are typically 9AM - 5:30PM (traffic dependent). Must have immediate availability. Dog handling experience is required. Dog training experience is preferred. Must have a valid drivers license. Ideal Candidate Checklist: -Must love dogs. -Must have an understanding of dog behavior. -Long term goal is to work with dogs and enhance dog training knowledge and skills. - Seeking a long term commitment. -Must be physically fit to endure 3 hours of continuous hiking. We cover 4-6 miles per day. -No pre existing injuries! -Must live in or close to NYC and be able to access different areas of NYC. -Must be prompt, reliable, responsible, and ready to act quickly and efficiently.
