Commerial Clam Diving in Tillamook Bay

Hello I am looking for a couple people that would like to dive with me this upcoming clamming season starting January 1st in Tillamook Bay harvesting Butter, Cockle, and Gaper clams. Its a full time position, we dive everyday, except for weather. You make anywhere from 300-800$ a day if not more, depending on YOUR ability. Pay is based on what you harvest daily. If you harvest 1000lbs you get 65c a lb. So you would make 650$. If you harvest 200lbs, you make 130$ etc...most beginners get about 500-600lbs a dive. We are diving using a Hookah system with 2 200ft hoses connected to your weight belt, so you have all the air you want and can stay under working for 3-4hrs easily. We do things professionally and train all applicants at the dock before anything else. No licensing is required other than a commercial fishing license easily obtained. You need to be physically fit to a certain degree. You do not have to have diving experience but it is strongly recommended. Athletes do very well We typically dive in about 10ft of water, not very deep, but sometimes we are in 20ft. You MUST have your own wetsuit. Its the best job in the world and these dive jobs offer a quality of life you cant find anywhere, its amazing, but its also work.
