The Marquette Center for Data, Ethics, and Society and the Center for Cyber Security Awareness and Cyber Defense present a Symposium on Ethical Hacking as part of our October Cybersecurity Awareness Month activities. This event is presented in partnership with SIM Wisconsin. Join us on October 6, 2022 for a morning of conversations and networking on ethical hacking and the importance of teaching cybersecurity concepts as a foundational component of all computing and information professionals' training. The event runs from 8:30am-noon on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the Lunda Room at the Alumni Memorial Union, Marquette University. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. A Microsoft Teams link will be provided to remote participants prior to the event. Over the course of her career, Olivia has created innovative teaching and technical training solutions for learners from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. She is a Certified Ethical Hacker and frequently speaks on topics such as social engineering, security awareness, and mentoring.
