PHSS Kayak Clean Up of the Little River and Festival

Pelican Harbor Seabird Station is hosting their third annual clean up of Little River! This year the clean up will be held on our new property that will soon be the new home of Pelican Harbor Seabird Station. This property sits right on the historic Little River and will be where we are launching our Kayak! You can email [email protected] for more information on how to reserve a kayak. Kayaks are limited so if possible, please bring your own. We will be providing garbage bags, gloves, data collection cards and souvenir tote bags with this years ICC marine animal theme, a hermit crab! (Tote bags are first come first serve) Make sure to dress lightly, wear close toed shoes and bring lots of water in reusable containers! Sunglasses and sunscreen are also recommended. After the clean up we will enjoy activities, food and eco friendly education from some local business' and organizations such as The Little River Conservancy, Miami Water Keepers, Miami Seed Share, Sophia's Face painting and more!
