Man Critically Injured In Crash On Clarksville Rd, West Windsor

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 48-year-old Ewing resident was critically injured after his car veered off the road, north of Quakerbridge Road on Sunday. On Jan.3 at 3:45 am, West Windsor police and Fire & Emergency Services responded to a vehicle collision north on Clarksville Road in West Windsor, under a mile north of Quakerbridge Road. A man driving a 2009 Honda Accord had veered off the road, drove into a ditch and hit a concrete hood and two drain pipes, causing his car to overturn, said police. Patrol units found the man entrapped and unconscious in the car. The man was extracted and transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, with serious injuries, said police. According to the police, the driver is listed in critical condition with non-life-threatening injuries. No other passenger was in the car. The West Windsor Police Department and Traffic Unit are currently investigating the incident.
