Seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for a growing family-owned multi location auto repair company in Yorktown and Virginia Beach Areas... This is not your standard maintenance job listing. If you are committed to your trade, want to learn new skills, and take pride in your work, we encourage you to apply! You will not be required to work on vehicles. We maintain, improve and repair all of our facilities and are looking to build our maintenance team to meet the growing needs of our company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to prioritize and complete all tasks assigned in a timely fashion. Job duties include, but are not limited to, diagnosing, and performing maintenance, repair, or installation of the following: -Electrical Interior/exterior lights -- Installing new equipment -- Moving electrical outlets and switches -Plumbing -- Replace or repair toilets -- Move or repair water lines -- Sink repairs - Doors, cabinets, windows repair. - Door locks - Ceiling repairs - Wall construction and repair (stud and concrete) - Drywall repair and installation - Painting - As needed, delivery of supplies for day-to-day operations - Maintaining inventory of commonly needed facility repair items for the locations Qualifications Applicant must have experience in facilities maintenance or construction and a valid driver's license. Be proficient with Microsoft tools for updating and communicating with the rest of the team. Qualified applicants must successfully complete a drug screen and a background investigation. Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. NO Sundays! Pay starts at $17 - $24/hour depending on experience, overtime is available. Full time position. Work vehicle will be provided.
