Description

Boxing can not be simply understood as an anti sports event with boxing gloves. In ancient Greece and Rome, the fight started with bare fists and developed into leather belt with hands entwined for reinforcement. Modern boxing began with the law prohibiting duels with swords, which is still a fight with bare fists. Until boxing learned to introduce gloves into the rules that must be followed in boxing matches.
