The Sisters In Stitches Joined By The Cloth quilt guild was formally incorporated in Massachusetts in 1997 and is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. It is the only quilt guild throughout New England that celebrates and preserves the art, history, culture, and traditions of African American quilts. SISJBTC currently meets at Saint John's Episcopal Church in Arlington, MA on the third Saturday of each month, where they celebrate their love of cloth and textiles. They come together each month to share ideas and techniques as they piece together their heritage through quiltmaking.
This workshop is FREE and for all ages. All materials provided.
