Together for Palestine is a free festival put on by the Center for Freedom and Justice-Colorado The festival celebrating Palestinian culture and history, will be a space to listen, learn and experience the people of the holy land. There will be music and music videos Food provided by The Jerusalem Cafe and The Phoenician Grill Live speakers and video streamed presentations from the city of Beit Ummar- Bessan Adi. Speakers include: Samia Halaby, International aclaimed Artist and author of Drawing the Kafr Qasem Jonathan Kuttab, International Human Rights Attorney and co-founder of Al-Haq and Nonviolence International. Iman Jodeh, Colorado's first and ony Palestinian and Muslim State Representative, as well as founder of Meet the MIdle East. Bessan Adi is a resident of Beit Umar and heads the women's collective an initiative supported by CFJ. Joel Northam, Organizer with ANSWER Coalittion and PSL as well as activist adressing police brutality and anti-war struggles as well as housing justice issues in the Denver area. Face painting and Henna skin art Debke performances Artwork Historical artifacts including pottery, jewelry, costumes, hand embroidery, olive wood carvings and glass.
