Dogs! Fetch your leash and join other dogs on this desert hike in the Santa Rosa Mountains. This hike provides great exercise while exploring the desert. Learn about dog friendly trails in the National Monument – and hike on! Pack plenty of water for this fun outing. Hike rating is moderate with 1000 feet elevation gain and 3 miles. Meet at the picnic tables. RSVP is required by 12:00 PM, December 1. Registration begins 14 days prior to the event. Your guide is Tracy Albrecht, Interpretive Specialist, Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. Participants will meet with the hike leader at the picnic tables at Cahuilla Hills Park.
