Welcome! I am Jessie Lucas, yoga teacher, personal trainer, and biohacker. Coming through this pandemic one thing has become clear...it is high time the wellness community comes together to support each other to lay new foundations for our field moving forward. It is my belief that being together in community we can serve better and be more fulfilled. I hope you will join us and make some new friends. This month's Meet Up will be at the 🏳️‍🌈Pride Center of the Capital Region and include a 30 minute yoga class with Kristi Plunkett in the Basement Studio. Kristi Plunkett is a local RYT500hr. Yoga Teacher and activist. She is also a cosmic kids certified yoga instructor and Y12sr (yoga for 12 step recovery) certified instructor. Kristi is the lower school yoga teacher at The Doane Stuart School. She provides professional development for local schools and corporations. She teaches First Responder yoga at the North Station in Delmar. Kristi is the founder of www.yogaforfunkssake.com and provides yoga for retreats, privates and parties. She build the basement studio at the Pride center because she believes in providing free affirming yoga to our most vulnerable community members. * Please wear clothes you can move in and bring water. We will have a brief talk about equality in the wellness space as well as time to network and mingle. If you would rather not participate in the yoga part of the evening, you are still welcome to attend! Feel free to bring business cards, flyers for upcoming events, and an open mind & heart :) *Street parking is available. Please arrive with plenty of time to park and walk to the venue.
