Join Elizabeth fora yin yoga class with yoga nidra in pace of traditional savasana. Yin yoga is a practice where you hold each asana (pose) for 2-5 minutes to allow a deep release targeting the connective tissue. Yin is a cold energy, no flows or standing asanas will be incorporated. Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, brings you to a meditative state between sleep and awake. Body scan and guided meditation techniques are used to bring you to restfulness.
We recommend bringing your own yoga mat, any props (such as blocks or bolsters) you may have, and a blanket. If you do not have any of these props they can be provided.
Essential oils may be incorporated, if you have any allergies or sensitivities please bring that to our attention so we can make this a comfortable and relaxing experience for all!
